The 1st team finally returned to action with a 2-1 win over Steventon in the 2nd Round of the Charity Shield. Despite the 'rusty' performance two goals from Steve Molloy were enough to see LWAC book a spot in the quarter-finals and a game against Botley United on the 27th Feb.
Next up for the 1st team is the North Berks Cup match against Division Two leaders Harwell International this saturday. A match that will no doubt see both teams looking to make an impression before returning to the bread and butter of the league.
The Reserves finally return to action this weekend with a league game away at Hanney while the Sunday side are away at Berinsfield Rebels.
