Long Wittenham Athletic Club Reserve team defeated Division Two side Saxton Rovers Reserves 3-2 to progress to the 2nd round of the AG Kingham Cup.
Two goals from Paul Kelloway and one from Dave 'The Machine' Jones gave Wittenham the win their performance deserved.
The First Team lost to top of the table Harwell International 3-2 but remain in second place. Harwell raced to a 2-0 lead before Wittenham came back into the game but ultimately left themselves too much to do.
